Orlando Pirates – Full list: All confirmed signings and departures

Orlando Pirates have hands down been the busiest side in the transfer window.

Orlando Pirates have signed 13 players. Meanwhile, the Bucs have released 16.

So, out of their 13 new stars, these 11 players were signed from PSL rivals. Whilst, TEN Pirates players have jumped ship to join PSL rivals.

  • Sipho Mbule (Mamelodi Sundowns)
  • Yanela Mbuthuma (from Richards Bay)
  • Masindi Nemtajela (Marumo Gallants)
  • Tshepang Moremi (AmaZulu)
  • Nkosikhona Ndaba (Richards Bay)
  • Abdoulaye Dine Mariko
  • Abdoulaye S Mariko (both Djoliba AC)
  • Sinoxolo Kwayiba (Chippa United)
  • Tshepo Mashiloane (Baroka)
  • Sihle Nduli (Stellenbosch)
  • Oswin Appollis (Polokwane City)
  • Kamogelo Sebelebele (TS Galaxy)
  • Lebone Seema (TS Galaxy).

Pirates have made some massive scoops during the 2025/26 PSL transfer window.

Most noticeably, capped Bafana Bafana stars Appollis, Kwayiba, Moremi and Mbuthuma. As well as Mbule from Sundowns and Nduli from Stellenbosch.

Meanwhile, young talent Sebelebele has been earmarked for big things at the Bucs following a firey start to the 2025/26 season under Abdeslam Ouaddou.

  • Thuso Moleleki (Orbit College)
  • Azola Tshobeni (Chippa United)
  • Goodman Mosele (Chippa United, loan)
  • Abdoulaye S Mariko (Chippa United)
  • Karim Kimvuidi (SC Ashdod, Israel)
  • Siphelo Baloni
  • Tefu Mofokeng (Loan to Mochudi Chiefs, loan)

Maela’s departure has opened the door to the new era of Pirates football. Nkosinathi Sibisi has been appointed as the new Bucs captain.

Furthermore Monyane and Mako jumped ship to join soweto rivals, Chiefs. This is a move that not many saw coming due to their age-old storied rivalry.

Saleng’s move to Orbit shocked the PSL community. Talented young star, Nkota made a big move to Al Ettifaq, where he will be making big money in Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, Saleng has been joined by Moleleki and Madiba. Whilst, Mosele joins Tshobeni and Mariko on loan at PSL rivals, Chippa United.

Finally, Timm signed for Sekhukhune United and Ndlondlo returned to Gallants.
