Orlando Pirates drop major Relebohile Mofokeng hint

Orlando Pirates have been without star man Relebohile Mofokeng for much of the season.

In fact, the diminutive winger has missed 10 games for his side so far this season.

Abdeslam Ouaddou confirmed that his absence was due to an injury however no further details were revealed.

Now, the club have finally provided an update on their superstar. Here’s all the key details below.

Orlando Pirates provide important Mofokeng update

Relebohile Mofokeng last featured for Orlando Pirates over a month ago.

The 21-year-old winger was side-lined through an injury however there’s finally some good news!

According to the latest club update, Mofokeng is finally back in action!

“There could be a reshuffling of the pack in a match that kicks off a busy week, with the likes of Relebohile Mofokeng and Simphiwe Selepe nearing a return after missing out on a fair bit of the action this season,” an official Orlando Pirates statement read.

The Buccaneers travel to Kwa-Zulu Natal to face Golden Arrows in an important league match on Wednesday evening.

Mofokeng is part of the travelling squad to face Arrows, and could likely feature against them.

Mofokeng’s numbers at the Buccaneers

At the tender age of 21, Relebohile Mofokeng is already a centurion at Orlando Pirates.

The winger has made 101 appearances for the club thus far. He also has an impressive 18 goals to his name. To add to that, Mofokeng has 23 assists at the club, as per Transfermarkt.

Buccaneers fans will be hoping to hold onto him for a lot longer, however the Bafana star has been strongly linked with a blockbuster move abroad in the near future.
