Orlando Pirates could be bottom of the Betway Premiership after the second round of fixtures are completed on Wednesday night.
After back-to-back league defeats, the Buccaneers find themselves in an unfamiliar territory, needing a win desperately to get their season on track.
After their opening 2-0 win over Polokwane City in the MTN8, Pirates appeared to be on their way to fight for the league title but things changed quickly when they went down 1-0 to Sekhukhune United in their first league match.
Under new coach Abdeslam Ouaddou, the Buccaneers have made 12 new signings and the majority of the new players have played in the three matches but none of them has stood out so far.

So far, the Sea Robbers sit on 14th place after two matches. If Stellenbosch FC and TS Galaxy can earn points on Wednesday, the Pirates will officially be last on the log.
Pirates legend Benedict Tso Vilakazi feels the club is going in the wrong direction following their 2-1 defeat to Marumo Gallants.
“Where is the core of the team? You must have a core of the team,” Tso said on iDiski TV.
“I want us to be realistic now. Look at the whole team that played against Marumo Gallants; how many per cent of the players who carried the team last season are still playing?
Vilakazi said the blame has to go to Ouaddou for changing Jose Riveiro’s winning team.

“Unfortunately the blame has to be on the coach, he is the one who is giving out instructions. So, when we see the team like this, we will blame the coach. He played against Pirates (last season), he saw what Pirates achieved last season, so it doesn’t make sense why he made changes.
“I don’t think it makes sense for him to change this team and play all the new players,” he said.
