Orlando Pirates have agreed to a permanent transfer of young star Mohau Nkota to Saudi Pro League side Ettifaq Club.
The deal is pending finalization of personal terms and a medical examination for the 20-year-old forward.
Nkota leaves the Buccaneers after an impressive debut season with the senior team, where he played in 39 matches and contributed to 12 goals. Promoted from the club’s DStv Diski Challenge side at the start of the 2024/25 season, he quickly became a key player under then-coach Jose Riveiro.

His senior debut came on October 19, 2024, in the Carling Black Label Cup against Magesi FC, where he replaced Monnapule Saleng at halftime. From there, he secured a regular spot in the squad.
Among his standout performances were two braces—one against AmaZulu in domestic play and another against Algeria’s CR Belouizdad in the CAF Champions League. His goal against Belouizdad was hailed as one of the best in the tournament.
Orlando Pirates wished Nkota success in his new journey, hoping he continues to shine while representing the club’s spirit with pride.
