Orlando Pirates head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has given his thoughts on the team’s new signings.
The Buccaneers signed Andre De Jong from Stellenbosch as well as Mpho Chabatsane and Daniel Msendami from Marumo Gallants.
The trio could make their debut when Pirates face Sekhukhune United this weekend in a Betway Premiership clash.
Speaking to the club’s media department, Ouaddou said the trio were integrated into the team.
Pirates coach happy with new signings so far
“We have some habits in terms of cohesion, in terms of living together and it’s important to include the new players,” Ouaddou said as per iDiski Times.
“We’ve shown them slides about our game model, about our team spirit, about our values in the team. “
The Buccaneers have sold Mbekezeli Mbokazi to Chicago Fire, while Sinoxolo Kwayiba was sold to Chippa United.
Ouaddou is eager to see what the new players will bring to the team in the second half of the season.
“So, it’s a moment where we can have chats with these new players to integrate them into our team. We welcomed Chabatsane, Msendami and of course Andre De Jong to come to our team.
“We are looking forward to them to bring us all the qualities and the competencies to the team,” said the Pirates coach.
The Buccaneers have already won two cup competitions and ended the AFCON break top of the Betway Premiership. A win against Babina Noko will see them take top spot from rivals Mamelodi Sundowns.
