Former Bucs club captain Maela is now a free agent. However, the Bucs veteran is likely to hang up his boots to take up a new role amongst the Pirates technical team.

Furthermore, there have been some big moves out of Naturena. Most noticeably, Saleng jumped ship to join Orbit College for the 2025/26 season. Additionally, Mako and Monyane joined PSL rivals Kaizer Chiefs. In other big moves out of Mayfair, Nkota signed for Al Ettifaq and former Bafana Bafana midfielder Mosele joined PSL rivals, Chippa on loan.
