Marcus Rashford has landed a surprise move from Manchester United to LaLiga champions FC Barcelona.
Rashford, 27, was one of five United players who were said to be not in coach Ruben Amorim’s plans, the others being Antony, Alejandro Garnacho, Tyrell Malacia and Jadon Sancho.
He was on loan at Aston Villa in the second half of last season, scoring four goals and setting up six more.
However, he has now secured a move to the Spanish giants on loan.
“FC Barcelona and Manchester United have reached an agreement for the loan of the player Marcus Rashford until 30 June 2026. The agreement also establishes an option to buy the English forward,” the club stated.
Rashford represented United 426 times, scoring 138 times and assisting 77 more since making his first-team debut in February 2016.
