Official: CT City Sign Former Pirates Star

Posted on January 5, 2026

Cape Town City have announced the signing of former Orlando Pirates midfielder Miguel Timm from Sekhukhune United.

The 33-year-old had parted ways with Pirates after three seasons at the club, whom he joined in a dramatic late transfer twist, joining Sekhukhune.

During his time with the Buccaneers, Timm won five domestic cups, which include the MTN8 three-peat and two Nedbank cup titles.

Despite making 14 appearances for Babina Noko, five in the starting XI, he has now opted to join the ambitious project at City, who are aiming to return back to the top flight.
