Bayern Munich have announced the signing of Liverpool winger Luis Diaz on a four-year deal worth €70 million including add-ons.
The Colombian winger still has two years left on his contract at Anfield but has opted to join the German Bundesliga champions ahead of the 2025/26 term.
Following the arrivals of attacking trio Jeremie Frimpong, Florian Witz and Hugo Ekitike, the 28-year-old Colombian winger saw it fit to call time on his illustrious Liverpool career and seek a new challenge.
Diaz joined the Reds in January 2022 from FC Porto for around €49 million plus on a five-and-a-half-year contract. Last season, Diaz had his most prolific season of his career with 17 goals in all competitions.
He won the EPL, Community Shield, the FA Cup, and two EFL Cups during his stay at the English Premier League champions.
