Official: AmaZulu’s January First Signing Confirmed

Posted on December 31, 2025

AmaZulu FC have secured the services of Zimbabwean midfielder Mason Mushore as they bolster their squad ahead of the second round of the season.

In June, Usuthu underwent major changes, with several departures and a handful of new signings as they assembled a youthful squad under Arthur Zwane.

Despite the changes, the KZN side have enjoyed a strong start to the first half of the Betway Premiership season, collecting 24 points from 14 matches.

With the season now at the halfway mark, Usuthu will welcome Mushore from Zimbabwean PSL side, Highlanders, as he strengthens their midfield in their push to compete more effectively.

“The Club confirms that it has reached an agreement with AmaZulu FC for the permanent transfer of Mason Mushore, effective 1 January 2026,” the club announced on social media.

“We are immensely grateful to Mason for his commitment, passion, and outstanding contributions during his time with us. Thank you for the memories.

“We wish you nothing but the very best as you embark on this exciting new chapter of your career.”
