AmaZulu have announced their first four signings of the new season as they look to build on their sixth placed finish under Arthur Zwane in his debut campaign.
Zwane succeeded Pablo Franco Martin with Usuthu in dire straights and winless after their first three league games, but managed to stem the tide and finish strongly.
The club trimmed the wage ball significantly with 14 senior players released including Abbubaker Mobara, Ramahlwe Mphahlele, Wayde Jooste, Veli Mothwa, Augustine Mulenga, Rowan Human and Ethan Brooks.
Now as previously reported by iDiski Times, Thando Ngwenya, Keagan Allan, Darren Johnson and Ryan Moon has been snapped up, from FC Platinum (Zimbabwe), Richards Bay, Chippa United and Golden Arrows respectively.
Thapelo Matlhoko is also expcted to be unveiled, one of the starts of the second-tier last season, who has joined from Kruger United, while Liam Bern’s move from Cape Town Spurs is being contested at the Premier Soccer League DRC.
Asanda Mzobe, Onke Ncama, and Minenhle Ngcobo have been promoted from the club’s reserve team, while Postnet Omony has been lured to the club as their new Goalkeeper Coach after Wendell Robinson joined Rulani Mowkena in his new venture in Algeria with MC Alger.
