Nodada Spotted At New PSL Club
Nodada joined the KwaZulu-Natal side at the start of the season after Cape Town City were relegated to the Motsepe Foundation Championship via the PSL Promotion/Relegation Playoffs.
He has since stated that one of his key career goals is to win the league, adding that he intends to retire at age 35.
“I’d really love to win the league, my brother. To be honest with you, that is the trophy, for me. I see all the other trophies I’ve won, but the league,” Nodada told iDiski Times.
“There’s just something about it. Like I said, knocking on the door for 30 days or 30 games and then on the 30th, it just opens. It’s a reward for your work, tirelessly. I’d really like to win the league.
“The rest of the stuff, it comes as it comes. Look, there’s football, I believe I play, and when I play it, no one can stand it, no midfielder can stand it. And that’s what I work towards, every Monday to Friday, the rest of the stuff will come as a result of whether people are seeing the football I’m playing or not.
“But that I cannot control. So, for the past three, four years, l’ve been playing on what I get. If you’re going to give me five minutes, in that five minutes, I might give you something you haven’t seen the whole game.
“That’s my attitude. to the mouth and then let the football speak. I will be happy retiring at 35, because that’s where I want to call it. Yeah, 35, if I have given you the best football I can, irrespective of what I won, if you looked at me as a midfielder, and when you look at the rules and responsibilities of a midfielder, I performed seven out of 10 on those. Then yeah. cannot control.”
