Bafana Bafana defender Siyabonga Ngezana says nobody can predict the future in relation to speculation around a potential transfer from FCSB.
The 28-year-old has been rumoured to be in high demand after becoming a standout player for the Romanian giants and was linked with a move to Ligue 1 last season.
He’s emerged as an ever-present figure in the club’s starting line-up who are competing for domestic and continental glory, having won the Superliga twice and competing in the UEFA Europa League this season.
“Nobody knows the future, I’m still focusing on the tournament,” Ngezana said briefly, who has amassed 101 games for the club since his move from Kaizer Chiefs before revealing how his move to Europe has transformed himself.
“As a player you grow, the more you’re outside [your country] the more you see life and football in a different way, I think it’s helped me a lot to grow, not only as a player but as a human being.”
Ngezana is likely to line up in the defence of Hugo Broos’ starting line-up against Zimbabwe in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations Group B finale.
