Siyabonga Ngezana and his FCSB have qualified for the UEFA Europa League after thrashing Aberdeen 3-0 on Thursday.
FCSB had dropped in the Europa League qualification after being eliminated from the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round.
FSCB advanced 5-2 on aggregate after they drew the first leg in Scotland 2-2, with the home side staging a late two-goal comeback to salvage a draw.
However, the Romanian champions showed their class at home, cruising to a comfortable 3-0 win.
Their game was made easier when Alexander Jensen received his marching orders after picking up a second yellow card in the 44th minute.
Darius Olaru scored the opener from the penalty spot before the break, while Adrian Sut and Olaru again completed the scoreline in the second half.
Ngezana played the whole 90 minutes, and his team will now enter Friday’s UEFA Europa League league phase draw.
