New Trio Spotted At Siwelele Pre-Season

Siwelele FC are continuing their drive to improve their squad under head coach Lehlohonolo Seema ahead of the 2025/26 season.

This morning the club that was rebranded from SuperSport United after a status acquisition took on Durban City in a pre-season friendly at Eskom Megawatt Park with midfielders Relebogile Mokhuoane and Siphelele Luthuli spotted, alongside Wayde Lekay.

Seema worked with Mokhuoane at Sekhukhune United, where he’s been released after falling out of favour under head coach Eric Tinkler and with Luthuli, ironically during their time together at the now-defunct Bloemfontein Celtic, a brand they are looking to revive.

Sources have confirmed talks with ‘KG’ are at an advanced stage, and Luthuli and Lekay have impressed, but it remains to be seen whether the deals will officially materialise ahead of the new league campaign which kicks off next week.

Luthuli spent a few weeks training with Orlando Pirates last season but left without a contract, while Lekay spent the last two years in Sweden with FC Trollhättan and Churchill Brothers FC in India, where he scored 16 goals in with four assists in 48 games.
