Posted on September 4, 2025

Orlando Pirates’ makeshift right wingback Sebelele bagged Goal of the Month, while TS Galaxy’s Puso Dithejane continues to turn heads with Player of the Month honours.

The PSL announced August’s winners on Thursday, with Sekhukhune United coach Eric Tinkler fetching the Coach of the Month.

Of all the awards this month, Sebelele’s screamer steals the show, leaving everyone buzzing about his strike for Orlando Pirates.

ORLANDO PIRATES DEFENDER/WINGER KAMOGELO SEBELEBELE

The Tembisa-born player’s winning strike was a stunning hit against Stellenbosch FC, earning the league’s first Goal of the Month award for the 2025/26 campaign. His speed and directness down the flank have added a fresh dimension to the Sea Robbers’ attack.

PUSO DITHEJANE AND ERIC TINKLER

Dithejane, formerly with the Kaizer Chiefs academy, has been a revelation in the early weeks of the campaign. The attacking midfielder bagged three goals and two assists in his last three matches.

Sekhukhune United’s Tinkler also got recognition for guiding his team to the top of the log, with four wins and a draw from five matches so far. The coach’s steady hand has set Babina Noko apart in a competitive start to the season.

SHOULD ORLANDO PIRATES COACH ABDESLAM OUADDOU CONTINUE TO PLAY KAMOGELO SEBELEBELE AS A RIGHT BACK?
