A couple of new faces have been spotted in training with Kaizer Chiefs.

Kaizer Chiefs have been spotted with a new midfielder in training.

He has been spotted alongside another new player. This new goalkeeper has also been spotted training with the Amakhosi first team.

NEW PLAYERS SPOTTED IN TRAINING

Chiefs have been spotted with two new faces in training.

“However, two new faces have been spotted training with the first team. That pair is goalkeeper Naphtali Mokoena and midfielder Manqoba Ozoemena,” KickOff stated.

Both players come from the Amakhosi DDC side. Interestingly, Ozoemena was invited to train with the Chiefs first team during last year’s pre-season.

Meanwhile, Mokoena has also caught the eye of Amakhosi’s technical team.

Furthermore, both men are in Nasreddine Nabi’s plans for the 2025/26 season.

“They were spotted among the first team during the club’s media open day on Tuesday and are expected to form a part of the club’s youthful squad this season, with head coach Nasreddine Nabi having made it no secret of his admiration for young talent,” the publication added.

AMAKHOSI ACADEMY CONTINUES TO PRODUCE

Chiefs have promoted THREE players from the DDC side to the first team. Thulani Mabaso, Naledi Hlongwane and Kabelo Nkgwesa are all a part of the current senior side.

As mentioned, both Ozoemena and Mokoena are in line to make their first team debuts for Amakhosi.

So, the Amakhosi academy continues to produce top talent for Chiefs.

More recently, the likes of Mduduzi Shabalala, Mfundo Vilakazi, Wandile Duba and Aden McCarthy have made the successful step up.
