Kaizer Chiefs have announced a new date for their first league encounter of the season against AmaZulu.

This fixture was initially penciled for Saturday, 27 September at FNB Stadium.

However, the PSL has been forced to move that fixture as the Soweto giants will be playing a CAF Confederation Cup match against Kabuscorp.

On the day (27 September), Amakhosi will be at home against the Angolan side in the return leg of the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round.

The first leg is scheduled for 20 September in Luanda.

Now, Chiefs will have three days to prepare for AmaZulu as the new date is now Wednesday, 01 October at FNB Stadium.

Kick-off is at 19:30.
