Ndamane Reveals Chiefs Star He Looks Up To

Posted on October 27, 2025

TS Galaxy and Bafana Bafana defender Khulumani Ndamane has revealed a Kaizer Chiefs star that he looks up to.

Ndamane enjoyed an impressive 2024/25 debut season in the topflight, emerging as one of the exciting young players since his July 2024 move from Amakhosi to Galaxy.

He debuted for Bafana in the international friendly against Tanzania in June this year and appears to have cemented his place in the squad.

He was also instrumental in the team’s qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which they secured last week with a dominant 3-0 victory over Rwanda.

Ndamane says the player that he’s been looking up to is Given Msimango, who was also turning out for the Rockets prior to joining the Phefeni Glamour Boys.

“The person that I’ve been looking up to is Given Msimango,” said Ndamane during the club’s media open day on Wednesday.

“He’s also someone I used to look up to; he used to help me a lot as I’m growing. So, yeah, I’d say he’s the one I look up to.”

Ndamane remains confident he’s on the right path and plans to continue working hard to accelerate his growth.

“For now, I think I’m still doing well, all things are still going my way. I think mine is to just put my head down and continue working the way I’ve been working,” he added.
