Ncikazi On Pirates Readiness For Magesi Clash

Posted on January 31, 2026

Orlando Pirates assistant Coach Mandla Ncikazi believes that their preparations have gone well which should enable them to get maximum points when they take on Magesi.

The Buccaneers entertain Dikwena Tša Meetse later this afternoon at the newly dubbed Orlando Amstel Arena.

Pirates are still in search of a win in 2026 and could only settle for a share of the spoils against Sekhukhune United, but Ncikazi reckons they have put in the work to come away with a victory from eSgodini.

“First game of the new year at home, it’s important that we get a positive result,” he told Pirates media.

“We just focus on the process of the preparation.

“I think that’s where we get our confidence. I think the way we’ve prepared; we are ready to battle and get maximum points against Magesi.”

The match gets underway at 18:00.
