Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi has given feedback on the player acquisition by the club’s management in this transfer window.
After parting ways with nine players at the end of the previous season, Amakhosi have made 10 signings so far to strengthen the squad for Nabi.
The team appears to have improved somewhat, with impressive performances in the early stages of the season. They’ve started strong, winning four and drawing one of their first five league matches.
Nabi has praised the Chiefs’ board for their “good job” in the recent window, stating that the new players are already providing solutions for the team.
“I think I have to say congratulations to the board, I think they did a very big job for us,” Nabi said.
“Some players have started to play already, and some of them will get a chance to play also.
“Now, I think the performance of some players who played give us more solutions. But building a team is always tough. With the new players, we need some time to build our team and to be better.
“But for now we have to say congratulations to the board for these players. I think they help us.
“And I think the only thing that we need now is time and passion because you know when you [blend] some new players with [current] players, to make a relation between them, you need time, and like I said, just with passion it will be better.”
