Mudau – What We Need To Fix Ahead of Zimbabwe

Posted on December 28, 2025

Bafana Bafana defender Khuliso Mudau has revealed what his side must fix ahead of facing Zimbabwe in the last group-stage match.

The two teams will meet on Monday, 29 December 2025, at the Stade de Marrakech, with a place in the Round of 16 at stake.

Egypt sits top of Group B with six points from two matches and has already secured qualification for the next round.

Meanwhile, South Africa sits second in the group with three points from two matches, while Zimbabwe and Angola each have one point from the same number of games.

Bafana will be eager to bounce back after their 27-match unbeaten run was brought to an end by Egypt in 1–0 defeat on Friday evening.

Ahead of their clash with Zimbabwe, Mudau said the team needs to work on their finishing, admitting they have been struggling to convert chances into goals.

“I think if we can just make sure that we score,” Mudau told SABC Sport.

“If we can take our chances, I think we can improve as a team. And then I think we will make sure as a team that everything is okay.”
