Mamelodi Sundowns winger Thapelo Morena has affirmed they know what to expect but are determined to grab maximum points when they face Remo Stars.
Downs has struggled to get positive results in Nigeria in the past years having lost to Julius Berger in 2001, Enyimba FC in 2016/17 and Lobi Stars in 2018/19. But in all those defeats, Sundowns managed to turn things around in South Africa.

Remo Stars Intend Not to Show Any Respect To Sundowns
Remo Stars haven’t started their new season in a good note after losing three matches, drawing one and winning three in the first eight matches of the season. The defending NPFL champions beat Comoros side US Zilimadjou 5-0 on aggregate to book a place in the second round.
Morena explained that they will need to fully focus on the task at hand and the battle will start immediately when they land in Nigeria.
“The atmosphere at first to be honest, to remember, after us, Bafana Bafana playing against Nigeria. Then Remo Stars won the first round of qualification to play against Mamelodi Sundowns. There was a lot of things that they want to see Mamelodi Sundowns from South Africa,” Morena told Sundowns media.
“So, the atmosphere is going to be crazy from when we get to Nigeria. The game is going to start from when we land in Nigeria. So, we we’re going to have to put our minds in it. And whatever comes our way, we just need to move it.
Stars confirmed free entry for their clash against Sundowns which will push their team in the mouthwatering clash.
“Yeah, I think, they want the upper hand. Obviously, if you postpone your two games, leading to a game like this. It shows the multitude of the game. And also giving free entrance you want the supporters to push the team.
“So, with us. We go in there to do business. The business that we know it’s going to be in the field, and we definitely show that we will do our level best and come with maximum points.”
