Moloisane Targets Huge Stellies Milestone After 100th Cap

Posted on November 25, 2025

Stellenbosch FC defender Thabo Moloisane was a proud man after racking up the milestone of appearing for his side 100 times saying it’s possible to play a further 500 matches.

The 26-year-old reached the Stellies centurion club in the 1-0 win over AS Otoho in the CAF Confederation Cup at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Sunday. He joined an intimate group of four players who have achieved this, in captain and goalkeeper Sage Stephens, attacker Devin Titus and former teammate Deano Van Rooyen.

Since signing for the club on a free transfer in July 2023, Moloisane has gone on to become a key member of the side helping them win their first silverware in the club’s history – the Carling Knockout Cup, qualifying for the Confed Cup twice while also personally breaking into the national senior team.

He said after the game that should he stay fit, there’s a possibility of even reaching 500 caps.

“I mean look this is a club that I really love,” said Moloisane.

“So as long as I’m fit, as long as the coach believes in me even 500 [matches], I can get to.”
