Mokwena On Ramovic – Check The Archives

Posted on December 9, 2025

Mouloudia Club d’Alger head coach Rulani Mokwena is not entertaining suggestions of a personal agenda after overcoming Sead Ramovic’s CR Belouizdad.

A bit of a background, Mokwena and Ramovic had a reported feud between them when they were both coaching in the Betway Premiership, for Mamelodi Sundowns and TS Galaxy, respectively. The squabble started during a Carling Knockout Cup last 16 when Galaxy eliminated Sundowns via penalties.

Since then, it went on and on, and ahead of the Ligue 1 clash between MC Alger and CRB all eyes were glued to see who will come out victorious.

MCA came to the game having not won against CRB since November 2021 in a league match. But they were high in confidence as they remained the only team unbeaten in Ligue 1. After coming from 1-0 down to win the game 2-1, Mokwena was asked by the media if this win was personal. He made it clear that he never said anything about Ramovic in the past.

“No, for a rivalry you need two people with beef, check the archives you cannot quote me say anything about Ramovic. Everything has been from one side and if I am wrong you can check the archives, ” Mokwena told the media after a reporter asked him if the win was personal.

“I’m just proud of the team, I’m proud to be part of Mouloudia, I’m proud to be the coach of this group.

“I am proud to serve and help and even if I can 5%, I am proud to make this contribution it’s for the club and for the fans and this is what makes me more happier.”
