Mokwana Scores As Lorch Maintains Hot Form

Elias Mokwana found the back of the net for his team, while Thembinkosi Lorch provided an assist, both delivering impressive performances among South Africa’s overseas-based stars.

Mokwana scored for Al Hazem, guiding the team to a 2-1 away win over Al Kholood in the Saudi Professional League. 

Meanwhile, Lorch set up Ayoub Boucheta’s goal as Wydad Casablanca cruised to a 3-0 victory against Nairobi United in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Also in Saudi, Mohau Nkota featured for 84 minutes as Al Ettifaq secured all three points with a 3-2 win over Al Fayha.

In the English Premier League, Burnley forward Lyle Foster made a 19-minute cameo in their 2-0 home loss to Chelsea.

Meanwhile in Germany, Bafana Bafana defender Ime Okon remained on the bench as his side earned a 2-0 victory over league leaders Paderborn.

Antonio van Wyk and Yusuf Maart both featured for the entire match in Austria, though Ried suffered a 2-0 defeat to Hartberg.

In Belgium, Shandre Campbell remained an unused substitute in Club Brugge’s narrow 1-0 victory over Charleroi in the Jupiler Pro League.

Elsewhere in Belgium, Cassius Mailula stayed on the bench as Kortrijk claimed a 4-2 win against Lommel SK in their Challenger Pro League encounter.

In Cyprus, Mihlali Mayambela played 84 minutes as Aris Limassol suffered a 2-1 defeat to Pafos.

In Portugal, Sphephelo Sithole featured for the full 120 minutes, but Tondela exited the Taca de Portugal after a 1-0 loss to Caldas.

In Romania, Siyabonga Ngezana maintained his regular starting role for FCSB, completing 90 minutes in their 1-1 draw with Petrolul.
