MILLIONS! How much they made for FIFA Club World Cup win REVEALED

Posted on December 13, 2025

Mamelodi Sundowns kicked off their FIFA Club World Cup with a win over 1-0 win over Uldan.

Mamelodi Sundowns got their FIFA Club World Cup campaign to the perfect start after securing a 1-0 victory in their Group F opener against Uldan.

Three points secured and a historic morale-boosting win in the bag. Speaking of the bag, The Brazilians bagged millions for their win over Uldan.

SUNDOWNS SECURE R30 MILLION FOR WIN

FIFA awards R30 million to every winning side in the FIFA CWC.

Meaning, Sundowns secured over R35 million after beating South Korean outfit, Uldan on 18 July 2025.

Furthermore, the winning start (and the millions that came with it) will give The Brazilians plenty of confidence heading into their next two group encounters.

Next up, Sundowns take on German giants, Borrussia Dortmund before playing their final group F fixture against Fluminenense. Here’s the dates and kick-off times of both Sundowns FIFA CWC Fixtures.

MORE MONEY ON THE LINE FOR THE BRAZILIANS

As reported on The South African, FIFA will be awarding each side R35.8 million per win. Meanwhile, a draw will see both sides involved given $1 million. This equates to R18 million (R17.9 million).

So, Sundowns still have R60 million to play for in the Group stages alone. Now, they will go into the match against Dortmund as huge underdogs, but they will give it everything. However, Sundowns could push Fluminense very far in what is likely set to decide the side joining Dortmund in the round of 16.

So, they can realistically still expect to play for between R20-R30 million and they have given themselves a real sniff at fighting for a spot in the next round.
