Mamelodi Sundowns have been relatively quiet in the current transfer market.

Now, another key signing looms and he happens to be a former Kaizer Chiefs player!

According to the latest transfer gossip, Mamelodi Sundowns are deep in negotiations with TS Galaxy over the signature of Khulumani Ndamane.

The 21-year-old Bafana Bafana defender enjoyed a stellar breakthrough campaign last season.

The Kaizer Chiefs academy graduate made 27 appearances for Galaxy in his maiden season at the club.

“According to a source close to both clubs, Mamelodi Sundowns are currently in negotiations with Galaxy over the highly-rated defender,” a Citizen report read.

“Although the Buccaneers have also shown interest, Sundowns are believed to be close to reaching an agreement with the Mpumalanga club ahead of the new season.”

Will Ndamane get game-time at Chloorkop?

Is it a good idea for Khulumani Ndamane to be moving to Mamelodi Sundowns at this point? The Brazilians have a plethora of quality meaning game-time may be limited. This may impact his Bafana Bafana future.

Alternatively, it may raise his game to a whole new level! What do you think?
