Maema, Mayambela Find the Net While Lorch Keeps Delivering

Posted on December 1, 2025

Neo Maema and Mihlali Mayambela both got on the scoresheet for their respective clubs, while Thembinkosi Lorch once again delivered a strong performance for his side.

Maema struck a solitary goal for Simba, rattling the net in their 2–1 loss to Stade Malien in the CAF Champions League.

Meanwhile, Mayambela found the target for Aris Limassol during their commanding 4–0 victory over Paralimni in the Cyprus League.

Lorch continued his impressive form, providing the assist for Nordin Amrabat in their 1–0 CAF Confederation Cup triumph over Azam — his second assist in a row.

In the English Premier League, Lyle Foster played 75 minutes as Burnley suffered a 3–1 defeat to Brentford.

Meanwhile, in Belgium, Cassius Mailula remained on the bench for the fifth consecutive match, with Kortrijk drawing 1–1 against Sporting Lokeren in the Challenger Pro League.

Shandre Campbell made a brief 10-minute appearance for Club Brugge, who lost 1–0 to Antwerp in the Jupiler Pro League.

In Germany, Ime Okon played the second half as Hannover 96 triumphed 3–0 over Karlsruher SC in Bundesliga 2.

In Portugal, Sphephelo Sithole completed the full 90 minutes as Tondela secured a 1–0 win over Gil Vicente in Liga Portugal.

Yusuf Maart played the entire match, while Antonio van Wyk featured for 75 minutes as Ried edged Wolfsberger 1–0 in Austria’s Bundesliga.

In Romania, Siyabonga Ngezana remained an unused substitute as FCSB won 2–1 against Farul Constanta in the Superliga.
