South Africa international Thembinkosi Lorch provided the all-important assist for Wydad Athletic Club who picked up three crucial points away from home.
‘Nyoso’ was given yet another starting berth for Wydad and continued his rich vein of form that he has so delivered consistently of late.
On Sunday night, Lorch stepped up and laid an assist for Joseph Bakasu who netted the only goal of the match in the 47th minute against Asante Kotoko in their CAF Confederation Cup second preliminary round 1st leg clash in Accra.
Lorch has now taken his tally to two goals and two assists in his past four matches across all competitions for Wydad this campaign as they look to wrap up the second leg at home for a spot in the group stages.
