Friday night was no different as the former Mamelodi Sundowns attacker helped his side beat CODM Meknès 3-1 on the road.

Wydad thwarted any last-ditch efforts from Meknès to claim the all-important maximum points on the road after completing the rout through Hamza Hannouri in the 82nd minute for a huge win.

The win sees Wydad temporarily move top with 10 points from four matches, three ahead of second-placed RS Berkane who take on Union Touarga on Sunday, 5 October.
