Liverpool have secured their third summer signing with the arrival of Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth in a £40 million deal. The Hungarian international is highly rated and adds to the club’s growing list of new recruits.
So far this summer, Liverpool have spent a total of £216 million on new players. Before Kerkez, they signed Jeremie Frimpong for £29.5 million and Florian Wirtz for a potential British-record fee of £116 million, with £100 million paid upfront. Both players joined from Bayer Leverkusen.
The Reds have also strengthened their goalkeeping options, bringing in Valencia’s Giorgi Mamardashvili for £29 million and Armin Pecsi from Puskas Academia for £1.5 million.
