AmaZulu, coached by Kaizer Chiefs legend and former head coach Arthur Zwane, have had a mixed season so far.

They’ve won three matches, drawn two, and lost two, placing them ninth on the log with 11 points from seven games.

Amakhosi, currently sixth with 14 points from seven matches (four wins, two draws, and one defeat), will be aiming for maximum points to stay within reach of the leading pack.

Betway Premiership standings ahead of kick-off:

International break

Wednesday’s fixture marks the final league match for both teams before the October FIFA international break.

A win for the Glamour Boys will provide a morale boost ahead of the weekend’s Carling Knockout clash against Stellenbosch FC.

Kaizer Chiefs coaches will be pleased to have a fuller squad to pick from, notable some players who were unavailable for Saturday’s CAF Confederation Cup match due to registration constraints for the continental competition.

Tickets for the match between Amakhosi and Usuthu are available for R60 via www.opentickets.co.za, www.kaizerchiefs.com, and in store at Checkers, Shoprite and USave supermarkets.
