Latest Mayo Update – iDiski Times

Khanyisa Mayo has been cleared to join Kaizer Chiefs from CR Belouizdad on a season-long loan, and is traveling to South Africa on Thursday.

Mayo, 27, was the latest player announced by Chiefs last week but he couldn’t join the club immediately with paperwork being the stumbling block.

But after the paperwork has now been sorted, Mayo left Algiers International Airport Houari Boumediene to OR Tambo International this afternoon.

The 27-year-old will join Amakhosi on a season long loan, and Chiefs have an option to make the deal permanent at the end of the season in June.

Khanyisa is following in his father’s footsteps Patrick Mayo who played for Chiefs between 2003 to 2007.
