Latest FIFA Rankings – iDiski Times

Posted on November 20, 2025

Bafana Bafana have dropped out of Africa’s top 10 in the latest FIFA rankings after being overtaken by DR Congo.

Hugo Broos’ men have suffered a crucial blow ahead of the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup draw, dropping into 11th place among the CAF nations.

It seems the blunder by the South African Football Association in fielding suspended Teboho Mokoena and resulting points deduction came back to haunt Bafana, who dropped from 59th into 61st position. Another factor that didn’t help Bafana is the fact that Broos’ side only played one match during the recent international window, albeit beating Zambia 3-1.

Morocco has stayed at the top of the African nations, climbing one spot into 11th worldwide, while Senegal are second among the African teams and 19th overall.

Egypt complete Africa’s top three despite falling two spots into 34th overall. Algeria in 35th and Nigeria in 38th round out CAF’s top five, with the Super Eagles climbing three spots.

Tunisia also climbed three and sit in 40th, followed by Ivory Coast in 42nd and Mali in 54th. DR Congo climbed from outside Africa’s top 10 into eighth and 56th overall, while Cameroon in 57th taking up the last spot in Africa’s top 10.
