Khenyeza Makes Shock Leopards Decision

Posted on February 16, 2026

Mabhudi Khenyeza has stepped down from his role as head coach of Motsepe Foundation Championship outfit Black Leopards.

iDiski Times can confirm that Khenyeza vacated his role after being asked to be assistant coach to the incoming head coach. The former Lamontville Golden Arrows head coach was in charge of Leopards’ 2-0 loss to Gomora United this past weekend.

Lidoda Duvha have managed only one win in the 10 matches that Khenyeza was in charge, leaving Leopards sitting bottom of the table with 12 points after 17 games.

When Khenyeza was appointed as the head coach, the mandate was to at least finish in the top four or possible finish in the playoffs something they are way off currently.
