Khanye Praises Pirates Star – iDiski Times

Posted on October 29, 2025

iDiski TV analyst Junior Khanye has praised Orlando Pirates midfielder Patrick Maswanganyi following their 2-1 win over Magesi FC in the Carling Knockout Cup quarterfinal.

Maswanganyi who hasn’t enjoyed a lot of game time this season started the game at Orlando Stadium on Tuesday and created some chances while also assisting Evidence Makgopa’s late winner.

Khanye said ‘Tito’ hasn’t had a game like that in a while and was a candidate for the Man of the Match accolade, adding that Maswanganyi was brave in the decision to make the pass to Makgopa something other players would be scared to do.

“Well done to Tito, he played very well today after a while I applaud him,” said Khanye on iDiski TV.

“Check goal number two, the ball he had in the pocket and that pass, some players don’t want to risk and play that kind of a pass.

“They’d be scared to play and to lose the ball. He hit it well and well done to Evidence Makgopa good goal.”
