Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Cedric Kaze has spoken about being omitted from Nasreddine Nabi’s farewell message upon the latter’s Amakhosi exit.
The Tunisian mentor was suspended by the club before the two parties went their separate ways amicably, bringing an abrupt end to a tenure that promised much but was met with challenges.
Even though it was expected that Nabi would leave with the technical team he brought to Naturena in Kaze, Khalil Ben Yousseff, Ilyes Mzoughi and Safi Majdi, the Tunisian mentor left the club alone.
Upon learning of his fate at Chiefs, Nabi bid farewell via Instagram but did so without mentioning Kaze and Ben Youssef, with the Burundian rather focusing on thanking Nabi instead.
“About the letter, about that, I don’t have any comment,” Kaze told the media.
“I worked with Coach Nabi for three seasons. I wish him very well, I told him that, and I hope that he’s gonna find something that suits him in the near future.
“I wish him all the best.”
