Kaizer Chiefs up to second, Pirates stay 14th!

Posted on August 15, 2025

The Betway Premiership season is in full swing after two rounds of matches were played this week.

The South African website brings you an updated PSL log so that you can be able to see where your favourite team is.

As things stand, newly-promoted side Durban City top the PSL standings with six points from their opening two games.

Kaizer Chiefs also maintained their perfect start to the season as they are second with six points from two league matches.

Both Marumo Gallants and Sekhukhune United are also on six points each, and they are up there on the PSL log.

Defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns moved down to fifth on the log following Wednesday’s results.

Interestingly, last season’s runners-up Orlando Pirates remained 14th with no points.

They are one of the only three teams with zero points after two rounds of matches this season – the otter two are Richards Bay FC (15th) and TS Galaxy (16th).
