The group stage campaign is set to begin in Egypt, where the team will face Al Masry at the Suez Stadium on Sunday at 6:00 p.m.

CAF CONFEDERATION CUP: AL MASRY VS KAIZER CHIEFS

The Glamour Boys landed in Port Said on a high. They come off three straight wins, including a confident 3–1 victory over AS Simba in the previous CAFCC round and a dominant 4–1 triumph over Orbit College in the Betway Premiership.

Al Masry enter the clash without the same attacking firepower, coming off three goalless draws and a narrow 2–1 win over Al-Ittihad in the qualifiers.

Before departing, Chiefs confirmed their 22-man travelling squad. Gaston Sirino is suspended, while Glody Lilepo, Aden McCarthy, and Reeve Frosler were notable omissions. Khanyisa Mayo remains sidelined with injury.
