Kaizer Chiefs star set to leave the club

A struggling Kaizer Chiefs star looks set to leave the club before the transfer window shuts close.

The Glamour Boys have built a competitive squad for the upcoming season.

One of their problem areas was the attacking department, and Chiefs have since signed no less than four strikers.

Luke Baartman, Khanyisa Mayo, Flavia Silva and Etioso Ighodaro have all joined Kaizer Chiefs.

Kaizer Chiefs striker to leave on loan?

31-year-old striker Tashreeq Morris joined Kaizer Chiefs at the beginning of the year as an emergency signing.

Things however haven’t gone according to plan for the powerful striker.

Morris is yet to score or assist in 10 appearances for the club.

And now, new reports suggest he could be offloaded by the club before the transfer window closes.

Durban City FC are reportedly working on signing Morris on loan!

“This website has been informed that City coach Gavin Hunt has requested to reunite with the player on loan with the possibility for a permanent transfer,” an IDiski Times report read.

“Morris still has the current season and the next at Kaizer Chiefs with his contract expiring in June 2027, having penned a two-year and a half in January.”

Who should lead the line for Chiefs?

Which striker do you believe should lead the line for Nasreddine Nabi’s side? Do Kaizer Chiefs have enough quality in attack to compete with Pirates and Sundowns?
