Kaizer Chiefs scout flying to Morocco

Posted on December 19, 2025

In what will be Kaizer Chiefs’ TransferRoom debut on Monday, 22 December, the event will host at least 800 clubs and more than 500 agents.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The TransferRoom summit allows clubs to meet with buyers or sellers across three days, review suggested player data, identify targets, and arrange follow-up meetings, all without repeated international travel.

Kaizer Chiefs Head of Scouting and Recruitment, Tera Maliwa, confirmed that he and Sporting Director Kaizer Motaung Jr will attend.

Has it helped Sundowns?

Mamelodi Sundowns have been part of the event since 2022. Through it, Kabo Yellow signed players like Marcelo Allende, Tashreeq Matthews, and Arthur Sales.

“This is a huge opportunity for Kaizer Chiefs,” Maliwa wrote on LinkedIn. “Football is a business of information, and access to the right contacts is crucial.

“Attending TransferRoom in Rabat will help us strengthen our position in the global transfer market,” he added.
