As the new football season gets closer, Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the squad numbers for their players, including new signings. This gives fans an early look at how the team will shape up and which players will wear their preferred numbers as the club aims for a stronger league campaign.

The squad includes a mix of seasoned players and new additions. Goalkeeper Brandon Petersen keeps the number 1 jersey, while key attackers like Yusuf Maart (8) and Ashley Du Preez (9) remain crucial to the team’s attack. Gaston Sirino takes over the number 10 role, tasked with creating chances in midfield.

New signings have also been assigned numbers, with defenders Inacio Miguel (84) and Nkanyiso Shinga (74) joining midfielder Edson Castillo (17) in adding depth to the squad. However, recent arrivals Ethan Chislett and Siphesihle Ndlovu are still waiting for their official numbers, leaving fans curious about their roles.

On the other hand, winger Oswin Appollis, who impressed last season, has struggled recently. Supporters will hope he finds his best form under the new coach.

With the squad numbers now set, Kaizer Chiefs look prepared for the challenges ahead. The team will rely on a blend of experience and fresh talent to climb the league standings.

The announcement marks an important step ahead of the new season. Fans will be watching closely, hoping for strong performances and a return to winning ways.
