Kaizer Chiefs REBORN star told to stay consistent

Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Nkosingiphile Ngcobo has been told to remain consistent following his good start to the season.

The 25-year-old attacker was named man of the match following his performance against Stellenbosch FC this past weekend. ‘Mshini’ inspired Amakhosi to a 2-0 win in their season opener at the Athlone Stadium.

Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Mokete Tsotetsi says Ngcobo has always shown promise but faded at times.

“He has been at Chiefs for quite some time. He got promoted and he showed promise. Sometimes with quality players, they can start well, and then they fade a bit, and consistency is a bit of a concern,” Tsotetsi said as per Soccer Laduma.

“But you learn along the way. He has started well, so hopefully he has seen where he lacks and see how he can manage his consistency and give us good performances because he is one player who can do well for the team.”

Tsotetsi’s message for Kaizer Chiefs midfielder

“My message to him is that he should keep working hard, and we should see more. He has started well, so he must keep on working. This is his time to shine and get more game time at Chiefs,” he said.

Ngcobo has been impressive since pre-season, carrying his good form into the new season. Under coach Nabi, the Kaizer Chiefs youth product seems to be realising his full potential.

Can Ngcobo improve Chiefs?
