Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Mohamed Camara himself has revealed that the Glamour Boys are keen on signing him!

Camara put on a superb performance against Kaizer Chiefs in last month’s Toyota Cup after saving three penalties in his side’s penalty shootout victory over the Glamour Boys.

“I was approached after our friendly match. They appreciated my performance, especially the four penalties saved. We had a long conversation,” Camara told Africa Foot.

“I told them to contact my club. I still have a one-year contract. It’s nice to see the interest from a historic club like Kaizer Chiefs.

“There are other clubs in Morocco and two in Europe who have also contacted me for information, but nothing concrete yet.”

Do Chiefs need Camara?

Kaizer Chiefs already have four senior goalkeepers at the club. Brandon Peterson, Fiacre Ntwari, Bruce Bvuma and Karabo Molefe are all competing for one spot. Do they really need another goalkeeper?
