Kaizer Chiefs legend lands new head coaching job

A former Kaizer Chiefs star has been unveiled as the new head coach at a neighbouring club.

Bafana Bafana and Amakhosi legend Reneilwe Letsholonyane has left the country to join Botswana FNB Premiership side Matebele FC.

The CAF A Licence holder will take charge of the struggling Botswana side for the next two years!

Matebele FC finished last season in 12th position on the log standings, and have started the new season in similar fashion. They’ve already lost two out of their first three matches.

Former Kaizer Chiefs star takes on difficult coaching gig

Former Kaizer Chiefs star Reneilwe Letsholonyane has been unveiled as Matebele FC’s new head coach.

According to Africa Foot, the Bafana Bafana midfield maestro has signed a two-year deal at the club.

In his first game in charge, Yeye’s Matebele FC will face Owen Da Gama’s Black Lions.

This will be Reneilwe Letsholonyane’s first top-flight coaching gig. Yeye coached the AmaZulu Diski Challenge team in the past while also enjoying stints with South Africa’s junior international teams. Can the Kaizer Chiefs legend turn the tide for Matebele FC?
