Kaizer Chiefs will begin their pre-season preparations with a high-profile friendly against Dutch Eredivisie side Vitesse Arnhem tonight at 19:00 (SA time).

The match at Sportpark Driel marks the first of five scheduled friendlies during Chiefs’ three-week training camp in the Netherlands, with subsequent games against FC Utrecht, NEC Nijmegen, PEC Zwolle and FC Twente.

Viewing Details:

  • Live Stream: Kaizer Chiefs YouTube channel

  • Venue: Sportpark Driel, Netherlands

  • Ticket Info: €10 for adults, €5 for under-16s (available via kaartverkoop.vitesse.nl or at the gate)

This fixture offers fans their first glimpse of new signings including Siphesihle Ndlovu and Ethan Chislett in Chiefs colors, while coach Nasreddine Nabi is expected to field a mix of established players and rising talents.

The Dutch tour forms a crucial part of Chiefs’ preparations as they aim to end their trophy drought in the 2025/26 season. With temperatures expected around 22°C in Driel tonight, conditions should be ideal for attacking football.
