Kaizer Chiefs are gearing up to host Polokwane City in the Betway Premiership on Wednesday night.

They’ll be looking to make it two wins out of two at the FNB Stadium. And now, there’s some good news heading into the clash!

Kaizer Chiefs have been boosted by the availability of three key players.

Pule Mmodi missed his side’s league opener through suspension. The talented winger however is back in contention after serving his suspension which carried over from last season.

Furthermore, new signings Paseka Mako and Ethan Chislett are ready to play for the club. Chislett missed out over the weekend due to a paperwork issue however that’s also been cleared now.

“We didn’t have any injuries from the last game or any suspensions. And we’re going to have a couple of players back,” Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Cedrick Kaze said as quoted by Citizen.

“Pule Mmodi is back from suspension, Ethan is available for selection after his papers have been resolved. Mako is available for selection after being cleared by the medical staff. I think that we are in a very good space for tomorrow.”

It remains to be seen whether new Kaizer Chiefs signing Asanele Velebayi will feature.
