Kaizer Chiefs have now released NINE players.

Initially, Chiefs released Chivaviro. Thereafter, Blom and Radebe were next to depart Naturena.
Then, Amakhosi decided to free up a foreign spot. So, they decided to part ways with Mozambican, Dove.
Following his loan spell with Richards Bay, Mdantsane was released. He became Amakhosi’s fifth player exit of the transfer window.
Suprisingly, former Chiefs captain Maart left Amakhosi to ply his trade in Europe. He is no playing for Austrain-based side, SV Reid. More recently, Potsane and Sam were released.
Finally, Castillo’s departure is expected to be announced soon.
“Amakhosi have chosen not to continue with the services of Tebogo Potsane, Ranga Chivaviro, Sabelo Radebe, Mduduzi Mdantsane, Edmilson Dove, Edson Castillo, and Bongani Sam,” the report read on KickOff.

Additionally, this Amakhosi R7-million goalkeeper is heading out of Naturena. Meanwhile, this R9 million Chiefs midfielder is negotiating a move to PSL rivals. Whilst, this R2-million Amakhosi fan-favourite has attracted interest from more PSL rivals.
So, FOUR more Chiefs departures are likely before the end of the transfer window.
Furthermore, more transfer deals are also on the cards. Luke Baartman has agreed to personal terms with Amakhosi. Therefore, he is likely to be unveiled as one of their next signings.
