Kaizer Chiefs – Full list: FIVE more likely departures

Posted on September 16, 2025

Kaizer Chiefs will be offloading a few more players following Nasreddine Nabi’s recent announcement.

Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi recently confirmed that he will be trimming his squad.

Meaning, more Amakhosi departures are imminent. Let’s take a look at the FIVE Chiefs players facing likely departues out of Naturena.

FULL LIST OF LIKELY CHIEFS DEPARTURES

  • Samkelo Zwane
  • Happy Mashiane
  • Tashreeq Morris
  • Donay Jansen
  • Dillan Solomons

AMAKHOSI TRIO ATTRACTS INTEREST FROM PSL RIVALS

As reported on The South African, Zwane has attracted interest from PSL rivals, TS Galaxy.

Chiefs are currently holding talks with The Rockets over a possible loan move for Zwane. Meanwhile, Durban City are monitering Morris and Mashiane.

“Durban City are looking for a striker who will strengthen their attacking department, and Morris has been their target,” the report read on Goal.

Hunt and Durban City want to sign Morris on a loan deal.

“They want the Chiefs striker on a loan for the entire season, but have yet to land their target,” the same publication added.

Meaning, Gavin Hunt wants to reinforce his attack and defence. So, Morris is one of the main attacking targets he is trying to lure to Durban. Whilst, Mashiane is also on Hunt and Durban Cities rador.

Additionally, Jansen is not registered with the first team for this season. Meaning, he will likely be loaned out and could even be sold. Finally, Solomons has fallen out of favour with Nabi and is also linked with a possible departure, according to SNL.

To date, Chiefs have released these 11 players. Meanwhile, Amakhosi has signed these 12 players. Finally, this club captain is the latest player to join Chiefs. However, he will only join up with Amakhosi at the end of the season. This is because he has already signed a loan deal with a new club for the current campaign.
